'Back to Nature' community garden

Brief: A redesign of the landscape for the first modernist block of flats in Britain, the Isokon, including: integration of the surrounding nature reserve into the overall scheme of the space; areas for the residents to relax, work, create; and redesign of a new rooftop garden.

Concept: The strong geometry of the building is reflected across this large scheme, with the introduction of several nature-friendly interventions such as a native planting selection, a food forest for foraging, and spaces for the residents to come together and be immersed in nature.
