'Patterns of the Past' historic garden

Brief: To redesign the planting in Hampton Court Palace’s Chapel Court Tudor garden.

Concept:  The design takes inspiration from Tudor knot gardens, Hampton Court's historic brickwork, and a source book of plants from the reign of Henry VIII. The concept takes into account the many influences on the garden, with plants linked to magic, medicine and food, offering year-round interest and colour.

This design has been selected by Hampton Court Palace to be planted autumn 2024. Further updates to follow.
